My package of work arrived safely at the Cuckoo Cuckoo Contemporary Gallery in Hastings. Make a visit if you are in the area, the gallery looks great and has some lovely work exhibited. I’ve sent a clock, jugs, teapots, cups, butter dish, small dishes, abstract vessels and a large dish.

What a lovely start to the Christmas season, Wirksworth was buzzing! The Christmas market brought lots of people to our sale. Great atmosphere and good sales! Here’s a few images.
Yes it’s that time of year again! A little earlier than usual as this year we are joining the Christmas Market organised by Wirksworth Traders this Friday 23rd. We will also be open Saturday 10am-3pm. We have been invited to use the shop space where the Old Vintage Rooms were. The space is about to be transformed! So we have a great empty space to enjoy. Mulled wine and Christmas nibbles, possibly a bit of live music (still working on this!) and great Art.
Exhibitors include myself, Dan Marsh, Gina Marsh, Julia Vaughan, Simon Vaughan, Beth Bowie, Gavin Repton, Richard and Rachel Sammels Moore. (ceramics, Jewellery, Wood,Metal work, Paintings, Photography and Illustration)
I have some of my usuals, but I’ve also been making some smaller items suitable for Christmas Gifts, including Ladles, spoons, mini vessels and vases, small clocks, light pulls, figures, brooches, rings and pendents.

Been loving some time to just make pots! Getting a few orders together for Christmas period,so really need to crack on and get firing!
Over the last two weeks I visited after school Art Club at St Werburgh Primary School in Spondon. We made some small dishes, which are now fired and cooling!
Pupils really loved making a finished piece but it was great to see them enjoying free play with the clay, challenged to create a group of objects on a theme, we had a scene of London, with the London Eye, Big Ben, and double decker bus! We had a forest full of all sorts of creatures.
